Delorean’s Energy Retail Division acts as the offtake partner for Delorean Corporation Projects. We achieve this by selling direct to retail and brokering long-term agreements with investment-grade counterparties and third-party services.

Our vision is to be the market leading clean energy retailer in Australia, led by smart technology which gives greater control and choice for customers. 

We are building a range of products to complement our retail energy portfolio that will use technology to aggregate distributed sources of energy and leverage our pipeline of bioenergy facilities to provide good value, simple, lower emission options for our customers.

Since 2016 Delorean’s Energy Retail Division has been steadily growing in Perth.  We are now one of the leading independent energy retailers in WA and continue to grow.  

With licences to operate in the Wholesale Electricity Market and National Electricity Market, we have now set our sights on making an impact across all regions across Australia.  We provide a product and a service that will help shape the landscape of energy in Australia and NZ for the next generation

Our Partners

Our partnership goes back to when the original idea was developed, and the directors of the project team had to start up an energy retailer to ensure the plant and Richgro got value for their investment.

The plant can process up to 40,000 t of organic waste that would otherwise go to landfill and has a power generation capacity of 2 MW. Delorean’s Energy Retail Division has a long-term contract for the offtake and is the registered market generator for the plant.

CTE is measuring our customers electricity consumption and with the help of Carbon Neutral, “turning energy into new native trees”.

For every 100 MWh of energy sold to our customers Carbon Neutral will plant a native tree as part of their reforestation program in WA.

We hope to contribute 1000 trees in FY21.  We’ll keep our customers updated on our progress on their monthly invoices.

This is a small positive step towards our goal of a more sustainable future for WA.
